April 19th-21st
SATURDAY, APRIL 19
- 6am-9am - Take flight in a hot air balloon with your camera and get a bird's eye view of Grants.
- 9am-noon - Filmmakers and photographers will document NMSU Grants Earth Day Event. Prize for the best film and photo. Films and photos due Sunday morning at high noon to NMSU Grants.
- Noon - ASG Sponsored Lunch
- 1pm - Topics for our mini-movie competition will be revealed. Topics were selected by Current TV. Filmmakers and photographers will have until 10am on Sunday to turn in a short movie or photo on the topic. Short movies will have a chance to win a teleconference with producers at Current TV.
- A computer lab with editing software will be available all afternoon and evening until noon on Sunday.
SUNDAY, APRIL 20
- 6am-9am - Take flight again in a hot air balloon with your camera and get a bird's eye view of Grants.
- Noon-5pm - Arts and Craft Fair at NMSU Grants
- 2pm-4pm - Dancing hosted by Gene Romero at NMSU Grants theatre
- 5pm-6pm Music by Paul Eversole and Deanna Tenorio - Catering by Sky City Casino - hosting by Joshua Sanchez
- 6pm Awards Night - winners have a chance to win Adobe software and a chance at a pitch session to Current TV
MONDAY, APRIL 21
- 9am-noon - Filmmaking Workshops at NMSU Grants
Acting with Janet Davidson
Directing with Hannah MacPherson
Screenwriting with Larry Stouffer - 1pm - Top 5 Winners get a chance to do a telephone conference with producers at Current TV (current.com)
