Service Learning Workshop Event
We are hosting a Service Learning Syllabus Workshop on March 19th for faculty. Dr. Rudy Garcia, the facilitator of our grant to institutionalize Service Learning here at NMSU-Grants, will be coming to conduct the workshop. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how best to incorporate service learning into your syllabus. Dr. Garcia is a wonderful resource if you have any questions about how to integrate Service Learning into your curriculum. I highly recommend coming if you are planning to do service learning for the fall semester- it will ultimately take much less time to meet SL requirements to attend, rather then wading through the process unguided.
There are two workshops to choose from: 10am and 3:30pm, and they will last an hour. Please contact Genevieve Humenay, Service Learning Coordinator, at ghumenay@nmsu.edu, to reserve a spot at the workshop.
